Sometimes it takes courage to even participate, and thus participation itself is not any less than victory. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Having a desire to win is more important than anything else.
Hope and desire lead to courage, courage leads to action, and action leads to favorable results. Participation and desire to win are more important than winning itself.
Whenever we have a desire to win and want to achieve something, we think of possibilities even if the way is paved with obstacles and challenges. It is our passion for our goals that motivates us to push forward despite any challenges.
Winning requires understanding that you will not succeed every time. Nonetheless, you must aim to win in order to increase your chances of success. There is no way to lose unless someone quits the game or does not participate at all.

It isn’t about winning, it’s about giving your best and pushing yourself towards a winning situation. You know you’re a winner when you’re very close to losing yet you don’t give up and keep trying until you reach the final outcome.
There are times when we win and times when we lose, but to participate and to give your honest effort is everything. We learn more from losing than from winning. As a result, when we try again, we do not start from scratch, but rather we begin with the experience that we have gained in the past.

When we can’t accept anything less than winning, isn’t it harder to participate? Is it ever possible to escape preparation mode if we try to avoid failure at all costs? When we fear failure, do we not end up stuck in the preparation loop and afraid to play in the real world?
Don’t let over-perfectionism keep you from taking that first step. Realize that excellence never comes from not falling. It comes from getting back up and keeping trying regardless of how many times you fall.
Aren’t we most likely to make mistakes when we start something new? If we are afraid of making mistakes, can we ever experience or learn something new? It is important to realize that there is a difference between making mistakes and learning from them.
Failure is unavoidable. We should not refrain from doing something because we are afraid of failure because when we limit ourselves for fear of failure, we fail anyway.
Great winners are those who never lose faith and strive to come back stronger after every defeat. Never let your fear of failure dictate what you can and cannot do. Be open to new challenges and realize you can only get beyond your current limits by pushing yourself further.
