Every exit is an entry somewhere else.
– Tom Stoppard
Meaning of this quote:
There is nothing like the ending in real life. Every ending marks the beginning of something new. Change is the law of nature; nothing stays the same forever. Embrace change and face the world straight on.
The end of something good might be the beginning of something much greater. Keep going, there is no such thing as an ending, there is always one great thing after another waiting for you.
You have to lose something in order to gain something. Sometimes we have to make choices; we can’t have it all. To get to point B, you might have to leave point A.
Sticking to something stubbornly isn’t always a good idea. As time passes, everything around us keeps changing, and so should we. It is the ability to adjust to changing circumstances that create a positive impact.
Keep going, don’t stop
Wisdom is to not lose hope when something does not go as planned. Although not giving up is not always the best approach, the key is knowing when to keep going and when to give up.
Realize that rejections aren’t necessarily a bad thing. Oftentimes, it can lead to a broader and more promising endeavor that you weren’t even aware of. When one door does not open, try knocking on another, as what matters most is that you keep trying.
Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.
– John D. Rockefeller
The decisions we make shape our lives. There are times when we have to give up on something in order to pursue something else. It is ultimately our choice of what to pursue and what to give up that determines the end result.
Changing directions in life may require us to make hard decisions; sometimes it is necessary to put an end to a beautiful chapter and begin a new one. Isn’t it that there’s nothing like the ending because it always begins with a new beginning?
A key to success is being at the right place at the right time. Opportunities are endless if we are willing to seize them. The time will always be right, especially when you are striving for something to the fullest.
Every ending leads to a new beginning
Every beginning ends with a new beginning, and that’s what we call a cycle of life. As Dr. Seuss once said: “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
Couldn’t it be that we must finish your current task before we proceed to the next one? Or, in other words, don’t we have to begin a new chapter since we’ve completed the old one?
Starting and ending are part of the cycle, but what is important is to not stop, in order to avoid getting out of balance. Always keep moving forward, always keep looking forward, and always try to keep things moving.
Recognize that things are meant to change, and we should too. Adapting to change is the key to remaining relevant as time passes.
Whenever things don’t seem to be going your way, take a moment to reflect and rethink. Determine if it is worth continuing, or if there is anything you can do to make it work. The key is to know when to quit and when to continue.
Leaving something up is sometimes a better option than holding on to it. Accept reality and realize that what happens, happens, and things often work out for the best.
A good ending often creates an opportunity for a new beginning. Don’t be sad because it’s over. Let the ending re-connect you with something better and more exciting in order to live a happy and fulfilling life.
There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.
– Louis L’Amour
